Peacock

This new collection from Firoozeh Neman marks a shift from her earlier explorations of the feminine form toward more abstract expressions of presence and shape. The sculptures expand in scale, their natural, stone-like finishes emphasizing texture, simplicity, and a sense of quiet monumentality.

Using glazes that evoke the tones of earth and rock, Neman creates works that feel both grounded and organic. The surfaces are intentionally irregular—echoing nature’s own balance between strength and imperfection, and inviting contemplation of form as both essence and emotion.
