Dawn Chorus

Ali Enache’s Blossom series continues her exploration of threshold states—spaces that exist between clarity and dissolution, memory and presence. Working with diluted acrylics on untreated linen, Enache embraces the unpredictability of her materials, allowing pigment and surface to interact in ways that feel both deliberate and organic.

Light plays a central role in these works. As it shifts throughout the day, each painting subtly transforms, revealing new tones, edges, and emotional registers. This quiet evolution reflects the core of Enache’s practice: an inquiry into the ways perception, like feeling, is never fixed but continually unfolding in time.
