This series of works, Cocooning, explores Tagada’s affinity with color and its ability to communicate positive feelings. The artist’s color selection process includes three methodical steps; daily observation of nature captured via analog photographs, the curation of small collages using photographs in complementary colors, and after consideration, the creation of the final artwork.

Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck
Transdisciplinary artist Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck's practice includes painting, drawing, collage, photographic prints, sculpture, and publishing. Tagada Hoffbeck shows extensively in Far-East Asia and Europe.
