Jenna Bitar's latest body of work expands her exploration of aerial abstraction into a meditation on the Earth as both landscape and living system. Spanning terrestrial, celestial, and oceanic realms, the paintings investigate the visual language of sediment, erosion, and elemental formation, revealing traces of time embedded within the natural world. Viewed from a distanced, almost cartographic perspective, familiar landscapes transform into abstract environments where geological formations echo biological systems and planetary structures mirror the rhythms of the body.

Organized into three interconnected movements, the series journeys from arid mineral landscapes to imagined celestial terrains before descending into the fluid depths of the ocean. Across each, sediment becomes both material and metaphor—a record of accumulation, transformation, and memory. Through richly layered surfaces and atmospheric abstraction, Bitar invites sustained contemplation, encouraging viewers to experience landscape not simply as place, but as an evolving expression of time, connection, and the invisible patterns that unite the micro and the macro.
