Lives and works in Bali, Indonesia
Based on the island of Bali, Indonesia, Jenna Bitar is a French-Lebanese painter whose work centers on honoring the stories of Mother Earth, Gaia, through abstract landscape painting. Influenced by her surroundings, Bitar approaches painting as a form of embodied inquiry rather than simple representation. Rather than depicting specific places, she constructs immersive environments that invite contemplation and a slower mode of looking. Working with organically derived materials and a process that balances intention with emergence, each painting becomes an exploration of shape, texture, and transformation.
