DESCRIPTION
Embroidery on fabric | 2016
For this series of embroidered outlines on fabric and found fabric, Fanny Allié photographed and observed people’s everyday motions and actions in a specific urban location. The resulting work is at once familiar and unique; various outlines intersect with each other, bordering on abstraction and referring to the marks we leave on each other on a daily basis.
