Collected unwanted fabrics pressed in layers of handmade cotton papers | 2018
Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck created the series “To End is to Start” during a 2018–2019 residency in South India, where she deepened her knowledge and practice of papermaking. Each delicately made work is composed of repurposed fabric pressed between layers of handmade cotton paper.

Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck
Transdisciplinary artist Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck's practice includes painting, drawing, collage, photographic prints, sculpture, and publishing. Tagada Hoffbeck shows extensively in Far-East Asia and Europe.
