DESCRIPTION

Pencil and Acrylic on Murano 160gsm | 2021

In Alarah Gee’s new series of pencil drawings, geometric shapes and forms are constructed as places, spaces and faces. In this series, Gee focuses on the sensation of solid colour as primary significance, and linework as secondary, and the perspectives and intense visual experience this creates within the spatial frame, a new experimental, and playful approach to Gee's continued exploration and the potential found within curvilinear and linear formations.
