In-N-Out
Pencil on Paper
In Waste Land, Claire Salvo dares us to see ordinary materials—a book of matches, perhaps, or a discarded ketchup packet—with fresh eyes. The new series of hyper realistic works, rendered in ink, colored pencil and oil paint, depicts remnants of life in Los Angeles. In meticulous detail, these mind-bending works explore beauty in the banal.
