Archival ink on museum-quality cotton rag paper
In Waste Land, Claire Salvo dares us to see ordinary materials — a book of matches, perhaps, or a discarded ketchup packet — with fresh eyes. The new series of hyper realistic prints depicts remnants of life in Los Angeles. In meticulous detail, these mind-bending works explore beauty in the banal.
