Pixelated Basquiat

Painting
$ 5,100

DESCRIPTION

Pen on paper | 2022

The pixelated Basquiat portrait is a meticulously assembled collage made by hold-punching and arranging paint samples from an ordinary hardware store. As she does across her other works, Salvo challenges the viewer to see ordinary materials and subjects in a new way as she turns the ordinary into something mind-bending.
