Kate Florence combines her education in traditional painting and contemporary video art to create paintings that both operate as narratives of memory and as explorations of form and composition. Her practice includes elevating everyday experiences through gesture and form, drawing from her childhood memories in the UK or her daily life in Australia. Florence has exhibited most recently in Sydney, Singapore, and London.
