About Johanna Tagada

Johanna Tagada is a London based artist, who studied at the Fine Arts School Haute École des Arts du Rhin (HEAR - France). Her interdisciplinary practice is composed of painting, drawing, photography, film, publishing, sculpture, textile and installation, preferring to build a coherent and singular body of work, which is best described as poetic and delicate. Her work is often semi-autobiographical, generating positivity and deriving inspirations from her daily life and experiences, as well as from close observation of nature. Theories related to Art Therapy and the Way of Tea are of personal significance to the artist and are recurring themes in her work.
