Brian Rattiner (b. Brooklyn, New York) is an American artist whose work reflects a deeply atmospheric and intuitive engagement with place, memory, and material. He received his BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and has exhibited widely across the United States and abroad. Rattiner has presented solo exhibitions at CARVALHO in New York and David B. Smith Gallery in Denver, and in 2025 exhibited with CARVALHO Gallery in the inaugural UNTITLED Art Fair in Houston, Texas. He is currently expanding his international presence through new collaborations with Amelie du Chalard Gallery in Paris.
Rattiner’s practice has been shaped by numerous artist residencies, including Anderson Ranch in Colorado; the Skopelos Foundation for the Arts in Greece; Fundación Valparaíso in Mojácar, Spain; Obracadabra in Oaxaca, Mexico; the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts; Le Moulin à Nef in Auvillar, France; and Monson Arts in Maine. His work and perspective have been featured in Architectural Digest Italia, Galerie Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens, Elephant Magazine, Timeout New York, and other publications. Rattiner lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
