In the series “Constructive Tendencies / Formal Solutions,” Tycjan Knut combines light, texture, and color into balanced compositions. Knut locates this series in the tradition of abstract painting, which does not depict, illustrate, or imitate external reality. The multidimensional paintings and reliefs are made of acrylic paint—and occasionally marble dust—on canvas and board.
