Photographer Katie Burdon captures fond moments and memories from her time spent in London and Cornwall between 2017–2019. From nude figures in the woods to dreamlike self-portraits and vivid still lifes, Burdon photographs subjects and natural settings close to her heart. Building on her practice of surreal depictions of the body, these works take a more raw approach, depicting organic subjects enveloped in natural light.

"Tintagel is my favourite village in Cornwall that is particularly magical because of its links to Arthurian legends. The land here whispers of these myths through its rolling hills that break into jagged abstract rocks that cascade into the sea. This photo was taken at a beach I hiked to near Tintagel called Bossiney Haven on a trip I do yearly to this area. The haven is very small and full of caves that are lined with rhodonite, the land here is so rich with minerals - no wonder it feels so special here and why so many myths have been written about this area. This photo is of a rock pool on the beach, it was very small, only about 30cm but the perspective looks as if it could be so much bigger. I love studying all the tiny life inside these pools, taking a minute to notice the textures, colours and movement that all work in harmony with one another in this small world." - Katie Burdon
