Found fabric scraps, salt, tea, and acrylic are just a few of the materials the Boston-based assemblage artist used in her latest works, inspired by the beach where she frequently seeks solace. She weaves together materials with their own pasts — often literally with needle and thread — giving them an entirely new purpose and message.
