DESCRIPTION
Archival ink on museum-quality cotton rag paper | 2020
McGoldrick has drawn NYC’s iconic Anthora coffee cup several times in hyperrealistic form, but in this newest release she pairs it with a page ripped from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby,” a classic American novel revolved around a mysterious wealthy man in 1920s New York. The combination is meant to parallel ways the artist perceives New York. “We have old traditions, old literature, new money and some little lady hoping to put all of it to good use...”
This limited edition print is printed on museum-grade archival paper, and will not be restocked or reprinted once it’s original run has sold out.
