DESCRIPTION

Oil and mixed media | 2018

Inspired by a fascination and a lack of understanding with the functionality and inner workings of her own body, Elrod explores the internal, and translates it into abstract works that reflect references to landscapes and romantic architecture. The idea of going beneath the skin is meant to carry many meanings and ask questions around the “universal” experience of living in a body.
