DESCRIPTION

Quilted linen on canvas | 2019

Using quilted linen on canvas, this textile work, looking through a crack in the wall, delves into the concept of thresholds, where fabric is used to create a “crack” in the built up architecture. The seams of the linen function as grout lines holding bricks or stone together, playing on the weight of the materials as well as forced perspective.
