Creating unstable, fragile and obscure structures for her characters to occupy and to be contained, Allié illustrates a choreography between bodies, gestures, unidentified objects and hanging threads, which appear within these places of passage. Made with found fabric, found objects and refuse, these precarious architectures and figures blend, becoming the substance or the matter of the work itself. Each textile piece carries mental images born from personal and collective experiences that relate to the question of home, and the senses of belonging and exclusion.
