DESCRIPTION
35mm film, developed and printed on Ilford Multigrade photo paper | 2020
Feeling frustrated with modern photographic methods, Danny Lane set out to create a body of work that didn’t use any digital technology and wouldn’t be posted on social media. Using 35mm film, he photographed a few friends in Los Angeles, then developed a series of black and white prints. Lane writes, “These photos were made with the print in mind—from the camera to the lab, projected onto paper using light and chemicals.”
