DESCRIPTION

Acrylic paint on wood panel | 2017

The artist’s most diverse series, this expansive body of work is an exploration in process and material, while considering relationship and balance. Acting as a foundation, the raw canvas is exposed, punctuated with painted swathes of bold, uninterrupted color. This series is meticulously planned out, often stemming from 35mm photographs or rigorous sketching - a loose and fluid process that is tightened as the artist approaches the final piece.
