DESCRIPTION

Lithography crayon and gouache on handmade paper | 2017

This series of works on paper depict microcosmic worlds existing within and mirroring within the macrocosmic world at large. Each piece is a different interpretation of elemental energy. Based on the concept of a stone as a power generator, talisman, alchemical vehicle, heart, womb or phallus, these works also reference fertility, the organ, vessel and the egg. Intricate line-work portrays sonic waves filling a vessel.
