Recently featured in Cultured, Tappan founder Chelsea Nassib shares the innovative vision that inspired her to create the Tappan Collective over a decade ago. In a departure from the popular notion that art must be experienced in person, Nassib aimed to make art accessible through an online gallery, starting with 20 artists that Nassib personally selected for their talent and promise. Yet the secret to Tappan’s longevity doesn’t solely rest in the team’s careful curation of artists across continents and mediums, the article points out. It also lies in its commitment to supporting artists in their careers, strengthening and evolving their work as it helps bring more beauty into the world.
